Unfortunately, we were all stunningly unsuccessful in our attempts to pry information out of Richard Bair regarding future release dates for new language features, components, and tools. He adroitly side-stepped/ignored all such questions. So Mr. Bair probably gets an A from Sun's marketing department, which, in Apple-esque fashion is skillfully keeping a very tight lid on internal development progress and stopping all leaks, but a C from the community which would really benefit from a bit more open communication. Oh well. It was a good presentation.
